  • To achieve the objects of power sector reforms as stated in the electricity act 2003 in its various sections as well as the national electricity policy 2005, tariff policy 2006, rural electricity policy 2006, energy conservation act 2001 and above all, the constitution of India and the related rules and regulations SAMTA POWER is making its humble contribution by participating in various activities in the forms like appellate tribunal, regulatory commissions , utilities as well as the other governmental and non governmental institutions.

  • SAMTA POWER has raised objections, offered its comments/ views in following-

    1. Formation/ amendments in various regulation framed by Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory commission (RERC) from time to time.
    2. Aggregate revenue requirement, tariff petition and true up petitions submitted by the generating companies, transmission utility, and distribution licenses.
    3. Appeal against RERC by private generating company and mining entities in appellate tribunal New Delhi.
    4. SAMTA POWER is actively discharging its National Duty as expected under article 51 A “fundamental duties” in the constitution of India
    5. SAMTA POWER is also discharging its social responsibilities through the support of right to information act, and other constitutional mode to protect the interest of common people of the country, the Tax payer, the consumers and all other stake holders of power sector.


    Samta Power provide proactive assistance to its client by providing Regulatory & documentary support to facilitate the process of getting government approvals, required for the commissioning of the project. Some of the approvals that might be required are:

    1. Approval from Central Regulatory Authority
    2. Approval from Forest Department
    3. Approval from Pollution Control board
    4. Approval from Industries Department
    5. Approval from Irrigation Department
    6. Approval from Wildlife Department
    7. Application Process with NVVN/STU
    8. Assistance in meeting the deadlines of NVVN/STU
    9. Assistance in signing MoU & PPA with NVVN/STU
    10. Assistance in reverse bidding for tariff determination
    11. Any other approval necessary as per the requirements in the  application process of NVVN/STU
