  • To achieve the objects of power sector reforms as stated in the electricity act 2003 in its various sections as well as the national electricity policy 2005, tariff policy 2006, rural electricity policy 2006, energy conservation act 2001 and above all, the constitution of India and the related rules and regulations SAMTA POWER is making its humble contribution by participating in various activities in the forms like appellate tribunal, regulatory commissions , utilities as well as the other governmental and non governmental institutions.


  • SAMTA POWER has raised objections, offered its comments/ views in following-

    1. Formation/ amendments in various regulation framed by Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory commission (RERC) from time to time.
    2. Aggregate revenue requirement, tariff petition and true up petitions submitted by the generating companies, transmission utility, and distribution licenses.
    3. Appeal against RERC by private generating company and mining entities in appellate tribunal New Delhi.
    4. SAMTA POWER is actively discharging its National Duty as expected under article 51 A “fundamental duties” in the constitution of India
    5. SAMTA POWER is also discharging its social responsibilities through the support of right to information act, and other constitutional mode to protect the interest of common people of the country, the Tax payer, the consumers and all other stake holders of power sector.
